RISING STARS

presents the

Twenty-Fourth Annual 2008 Summer Institutes

and

Ann Neubert Enrichment Series

Rising Stars is an organization formed in 2001 which is dedicated to supporting Montessori projects both nationally and internationally. Rising Stars is the host of the Summer Institutes, formerly presented through Northeast Montessori Institute.

Montessori Method (2.5 - 6) Early Childhood Overview — June 29 - July 3, 2008

Each summer, Rising Stars provides a five-day Introduction to the Montessori Method for Early Childhood. This event meets the requirements for those individuals enrolling in a Montessori Elementary teacher certification program (AMS) who do not already hold an Early Childhood credential.

Summer Institutes — August 4 and 5, 2008

This summer Rising Stars will again offer the very popular two-day Overviews for Assistant and Advanced Assistant Teachers. This Overview has also proven beneficial for Montessori administrators, board members and parents of Montessori children.

Ann Neubert Enrichment Series

The Ann Neubert Enrichment Series is specifically designed to provide the Montessori professional with a renewal of their spirit and dedication to the principals and practices of Montessori education. This summer, Rising Stars will be offering two different workshops: "Environment Design – Preparing the Montessori Environment for Optimum Success" with Gina Grattarola-Tzizik; and a Montessori Toddler Overview with Marcia S. Hubelbank. Please click on the following workshop titles to see a full description and to download registration materials.

All Rising Stars events will be held on the campus of Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts.
