3 Day Montessori Overview

This 3-day Early Childhood Overview is required of those individuals enrolling in the Infant and Toddler Certification Course who do not already hold a Montessori Early Childhood credential. It is also an excellent option for others, such as parents, administrators, board members, classroom assistants, specialty teachers, etc., who wish either to gain an initial understanding, or to deepen their existing understanding of the Montessori 3-6 classroom.

Areas of emphasis will include the Roots of the Montessori Method and the fundamentals of both Montessori theory and practice, including the 4 Planes of Development. Along with the concept of the Prepared Environment, participants will also be provided introductions to the core curriculum areas, together with an emphasis on the preparation of the adult.

This program will be held at the Children’s Montessori Center in Danvers, MA.
